Rachel Rusenko is a classically trained vocalist and intuitive multi-instrumentalist. Based in Portland, OR, they were born in Paris, France, and raised in Casablanca, Morocco until the age of 16. Their music is a melding of old world instrumentation, rich with ancient tradition, juxtaposed against modern technology, including effects pedals and a 4 track looping station. Instrumentation includes the harmonium, bowed lyra, vocals, ambient percussion, bells​, moss chimes, and various textural layers. 

The Dance of Death Whirls Life from Trance to Trance is the first studio recording from Luneau, Rachel’s former music project with Tom Asselin, released in August 2024.
